Our purpose in student ministry is the same as the rest of the church, we just have a specific target audience. Our get-togethers include the same components: faithful Bible teaching, prayer, and genuine relationship but we also recognize that student ministry is unique. For example, genuine relationship might involve a lot more pizza and casual activities for teenagers than it does for adults.
More importantly, we understand that we are not the primary influence in teens’ lives. Parents are! It’s our goal to partner with parents as they take on the task of discipling their teens.
