Attending a new church for the first time can be a little easier when you know what to expect. Hopefully what we have provided below will answer any questions you have about our church services.
What should I wear?
You’re welcome to come in any clothes you feel comfortable in. Our attire ranges from casual to suit & tie.
Will I feel uncomfortable attending alone?
Many of our members come to church by themselves each week. However, if you’d like someone to attend with you for the first time, feel free to bring a friend or mention to one of our greeters that you have no one to sit with, they’ll find you a friend to sit with. Being new can be hard in any situation, but you’ll quickly get to know our members and feel at home.
What is the worship service like?
Our services are a blend of traditional and contemporary. We believe that they should be combined so that all of the family can worship together. As such, we unite our voices with great hymns of the faith as well as contemporary worship songs. We are led in song by vocalists, accompanied by piano, keyboard, guitar, and various other instruments as players are available.
In addition to singing, our Sunday morning worship consists of Bible reading, offering, and expository preaching of God’s Word. Visitors should not feel obligated to give an offering when the plate is passed; you are our guest.
Do you have small groups or Sunday School classes?
We have classes for all ages. Sunday School and Adult Bible Fellowships begin at 9:30 am. We have classes for 4 year olds up through 12th grade. Nursery care is provided for children under 4 years of age.
Do you have childcare available during Sunday services?
We encourage families to sit together with their children until the singing is completed, then they will be excused for Junior Church (for children ages 4 through 4th grade). We also encourage families to have their children stay with them during the sermon when they feel they are at an age where they will benefit from the sermon. Nursery care is provided for children under 4 years of age.
Will I be safe attending worship services?
We have a discreet safety team in place, they help provide a secure environment as we gather.
I have limited mobility. Will I have any trouble navigating your facility?
We have accessible parking spots right in front of our main building. It is an easy walk from the parking lot to the front door. Both of our buildings are on the ground floor with no steps to navigate. In addition, we have a covered driveway/pull-through at our main entrance where passengers can be let off as a convenience.
